I’ve been looking for part-time remote work for awhile now. I am almost finished with my Practicum modules, but have had no luck getting my foot in the door. I applied with my local hospital, but haven’t heard anything.

For remote work, either full-time or part-time, you will more than likely need at least 3 years of coding experience, possibly more and have the 'apprentice' removed from your CPC.
A minority of companies may take on a CPC-A but they are few and far between. My advice would be to get some coding experience first. Failing that (it's not that easy to just walk in to a coding job ), get some real-world medical office experience to get your foot in the door.
