Hello,
I'm looking to find something that will clarify or indicate that the preventive CPT codes 99384-99397 are used for the annual physical exam (once a calendar year) with or without the pap exam, but I can't find anything noted on the AMA CPT book. Where can I find documented that theses codes are for the annual exams?

your help is greatly appreciated.

If you are asking if a well-woman preventive exam is coded with 99384-99397 even if a PAP is not performed, the answer is yes. A well-woman preventive exam is recommended every year. Depending on patient age and risk factors, it is not even recommended to have a PAP every year for all patients.
For anything ob-gyn related, ACOG is a great reference.
ACOG article about what should be included in a well-woman preventive exam https://www.acog.org/clinical/clinical-guidance/committee-opinion/articles/2018/10/well-woman-visit
ACOG article about coding a well-woman preventive exam without a pelvic exam https://www.acog.org/practice-manag...ary/preventive-services-without-a-pelvic-exam
If that is not what you are asking, please clarify your question.
