Hi, All, Does anyone know the CPT codes for reporting ultra guided lumbar puncture? I'm thinking it is coded with both 62270 and 76942? And -59 modifier? Thank you in advance for your help! Elizabeth

You are correct of if it is an Ultrasound guided diagnostic Lumbar Puncture we would report Both CPT Codes 62270, and 76942. No modifier 59 would be required as there are no CCI edits between these two codes.
