We are looking for the cpt codes that pertain to doing wheelchair evaluations that the therapist and home health care companies can use to bill for their services. It would be nice if someone who is versed in this could come to our office because we would like to explain to the companies why this would be a good thing for them.

from the Physicians Evaluations....
or more from the services of the PT or OT evals: "Physical Medicine Assessments" in the CPT code ranges of:
97001-97006 Physical Medicine Assessments as both of these providers do Assessments including the need for Mobility equipment, measurements, adaptive device, etc.

Thanks Linda, yes the PT OT evals. Our ATP's want to be able to present to the therapist what they can bill as incentive for them to go to the home to do evaluations for the chairs. High end manual and power.
