If a patient is diagnosed with Crohn's disease can Crohn's be used as a DX even if op report indications state HX of Crohn's and no active disease is found? I had heard that once a patient has an established DX of Crohn's that it could always be used as a DX, but I don't remember where I read this. Information on this would be appreciated.
