status post cardiac patient ? Ive been using diagnose code z48.812
 
What service is being performed? It looks like you may have transposed some numbers in the CPT you typed.

Did the patient have cardiac surgery? (Asked because you're choosing the diagnosis code for surgical aftercare.) Are there more words that go with "status post cardiac"?

Yes that was a typo this is the correct, CPT 71045 is the correct . The patient did have cardiac surgery and physician only states status post cardiac surgery.
