I was hoping that someone can give me there view on the the 2 codes my dr. Did a repair of a rotator cuff chronic w/ acromioplasty how do you decide to use a 23420 or the 23412 thanks for any light you can shine on this.

23420 is for complete tear of the rotator cuff, generally all tendons are torn (supscapularis, supraspinatus, teres minor, infraspinatous)
