Wiki Displacement of rush rod

Hello--
If anybody can help with this, I would really appreciate it.

The patient was treated for radial shaft fx, (25515), the rod "shifted out about 1cm". The rod was "impacted back in place". Since the doctor did not remove the hardware can I code again for 25515 w/ 76 modifier, or is there a revision code that I can not find? Thanks for any help!!

this sounds more like a manipulation? Did he re-open the patient?

He did re-open - op note states "old incision was opened the rod was identified and then impacted back in place". The first surgery was 2 weeks prior. Thanks
