Could some please enlighten me re:a dx code for previous biceps tendon tear. Patient is having surgery on his shoulder 29826 for impingment and 29824 for OA doctor lists previous biceps tendon tear on op report should I report this as it doesnt have anything to do with the surgery being preformed? I always have trouble with the previous and history of dx

V13.59 but I personally don't think its necessary as long as there is no reference specifically made in the body of the report to the biceps tendon.
