Can a provider bill for removal of ear wick and is there specific dx code to use or could I use the dx that was originally given?

There is no specific CPT code for the removal - if it does not involve an incision or surgical technique, then it would just be considered a part of the E/M service. If the only documented reason for the visit was to remove the wick, you can use a diagnosis code of Z46.89 - Encounter for fitting and adjustment of other specified devices - removal or replacement of a device is included in the Z46 category per ICD-10.
