Hello - I'm not coding for the ED physician, but a specialist who places the pt in observation status (observ can be anyplace). I would use the new observation code vs the ED codes according to 2 webinars that I recently attending but I do not have the presentation.

What are others doing? I can't find anything online regarding which code set to select from.
