I do not receive a superbill from the dr, I check the medical notes, dx and cpt codes directly in the EHR before submitting the claim. If the doctor does not sign the record in the EHR can I still send out the claim? I am being told by my supervisor that I can still send it out without the signature but I am not willing to risk my certification on her word.
