The physician dictates: I approached for a lateral epicondylar procedure. Dissection continued down the soft tissues calcification. This was ellipsed out. The joint was entered and a marked amount of synovitis was removed. A cob was used to elevate some of the soft tissues off of the anterior aspect of the humerous with the hopes that might get him better elbow motion. Folllowing this, the elbow was copiously irrigatd. The incision into the joint was closed with Ethibond followed by subcuticular Vicryl and skin was closed with staples.
