Wiki external fixators (Ilizarov)

I posted this question under General Discussion and go no replies.

One of my physicians applied 2 external fixators to the same leg (upper and lower). He wants to know if he can bill for both.

I was not sure, but I told him I thought he could. Am I incorrect? Does anyone know for sure?

yes he can charge for both, it will require a 59 modifier on the 2nd one (if they are both uni or both multi)
