Has anyone coded the First stage Cecil Culp procedure? I am not finding a specific CPT code for this.
 
not having an Op note - there's only one CPT for a 1st stage 54304-Plastic operation on penis for correction of chordee or for first stage hypospadias repair with or without transplantation of prepuce and/or skin flaps
also, there's add on CPT codes for different, flaps grafts.... if surgeon performed Cecil during this procedure you can add scrotoplasty (penis attached to the scrotum for a length of time)
this is a multi-stage procedure
2nd Stage
54308- Urethroplasty for second stage hypospadias repair (including urinary diversion); less than 3 cm
54312- Urethroplasty for second stage hypospadias repair (including urinary diversion); greater than 3 cm
54316- Urethroplasty for second stage hypospadias repair (including urinary diversion); with free skin graft obtained from site other than genitalia
3rd stage
54318- Urethroplasty for third stage hypospadias repair to release penis from scrotum (eg, third stage Cecil repair)
