We have recently begun pain management procedures at our ASC. I was wondering if we can bill the technical portion for the fluoroscopy?

77003 -TC

Will Medicare pay? If so how can I find out how much?
 
I am a little cofused by the article in the June 2009 issue of Coding edge page 46. Did any one read this and feel that they are suggesting that Medicare will pay facility at RVU?
 
I havent read the article yet, however the 77003 has a payment indicator of N1 which means basically that they will not pay and have calculated that into the OPPS payments.
