We just recently started billing 93296 for the receipt of transmission, technician review, and technical support and distribution of results of the ICD's, and pacemakers (single, dual, or multiple lead pacemaker system, leadless pacemaker system). but the 93296 does not include the LOOP recorder. I found code G2066 that appears to be for the LOOP recorders, but should G2066 only be used for Medicare pts? Is this a Medicare only code?

93298 -Interrogation device evaluation(s), (remote) up to 30 days; subcutaneous cardiac rhythm monitor system, including analysis of recorded heart rhythm data, analysis, review(s) and report(s) by a physician or other qualified health care professional

I want to use G2066 in addition to 93298, is G2066 intended for Medicare Pts only?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for details on any other alternate code for G2066, as Medicaid California does not reimburse for this code.
How do you all bill for this service for an individual practice provider for this payer?
