Wiki GP modifier-need help

I need help with the GP modifier.
The modifier GP is use with many of the procedure codes for example 97112 and 97032.

this procedures are done by the medical assistant supervised by the doctor, do we still have to include the GP.

Please advise.

Since July 2005, Medicare does not cover therapy services provided by a medical assistant billed incident-to a physician. They have very strict education and certification requirements for those providers that perform therapy services.
