Can you code 28285 with 28270? He did an arthrodesis right second interphalangeal joint with a dorsl capsulotomy and a medial capsulotomy. Thanks.

I WOULD NOT recommend the use of the 59 modifier when billing 28285 with 28270 as these codes DO NOT BUNDLE and therefore use of the modifier is not indicated/warranted and could possibly flag for an overuse audit.
