Hardware broken following bunionectomy?

Original bunionectomy was done a month prior to this. The surgeon removed the broken staple and then did a realignment followed by K wire fixation.
Would you go to an unlisted code (28899)? Any thoughts?

I would need to see the note for this case. You will definitely have the 20680 for the removal of hardware..until I see the note, I wouldnt be able to help with the fixation (but I do not believe that it has to be unlisted..depends on the documentation)
