Has anyone had trouble with Med Assets giving green check marks on pairs but then the insurance bundles them? Then when during further research, Med Assets is wrong. Is there one that is much better and more reliable than Med Assets? Thank you !
 
Yes, I have come across this problem quite often. The most reliable method is to go to CMS' website directly and look for the column 1/column 2 edits. There you can see if a procedure bundles into another and if a modifier is allowed or not.

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the spreadsheet that includes your CPT codes.
