we are contracted with healthnet here in Arizona, and we are getting denials for a flu shot.....do we need a modifier for a flu shot with healthnet of arizona??
 
What cpt codes are you using for the flu shot? I am located in oregon and a few insurance's require us to use Q2038 instead of 90658 for the flu shot.

Are you billing it with 90460-administration of immunization? I also work in AZ. Also we use SL modifier if it is an ACCHS plan if that helps at all.
