We are getting an LCD edit for 99602 and we have a Z23 attached to the claim but it is still throwing an edit. Any thoughts on what diagnosis codes we should use? We can't find it on the LCD list.
 
99602 is a home infusion code which is not for flu shot administration - do you mean 99402? That code is not covered by Medicare for any diagnosis. What LCD are you looking at? I'm not aware of an LCD for either of these codes.
 
I apologize! I meant to put 90662! This is a high dose flu shot.
 
It didn't give me one. I will try moving the Z23 to the primary diagnosis box on the claim to see if this helps. Thank You for your help!
