Has anyone ever coded an arthroscopic hip femoral osteoplasty? The 27179 is an open code that is an inpatient code and per my Medicare and BCBS can not be billed in an outpt setting.

I have been unable to find a code for an arthroscopic hip osteoplasty and have been using 29999 (unlisted). If anyone has ever found one better, please let me know. Thanks.
 
We use 29999 with a comparable.

Medicare, of course, will not pay on an unlisted code in an ASC setting.
