Hello,

I have a physician (hospitalist) whose been billing a D/C code of 99238 when the pt goes to Hospice. He bills this for the regular inpt and then he bills Hospice follow up code 99231 until pt is deceased then they bill another 99238 for the death summary.

This is not correct is it?
