We have an Insurance taking payment back for provider based owed clinic providers claims stating only one E&M on same day for hospital visits We are a Multi Specialty Clinic with numerous specialties and have several providers seeing patients in the hospital for different diagnosis but they are stating we can only bill one per day. Can someone help with guidance and/or information on how hospital billing for 2023 is done for hospitalist, cardiology, pulmonology, etc... billing? We have reviewed the specialty and subspecialty guidelines and it states that we should be getting paid for each.
