Wiki How to code x-rays in Global Period

Hello,

Does anyone know what codes you need for an x-ray in a global period. I do know that x-rays are not part of the global package.

Do you code Z98.890, 99024, then the x-ray code or does there need to a diagnosis code from the surgery or do you code Z47.1, Z96.641, then the x-ray code.

X-rays are new to me for coding.

If the X-rays are for injuries or fractures just use the normal S diagnosis code with the D at the end. For joint replacements Z47.1 and whatever was replaced is good.
