I have been a CNA for 20+ years. This will be totally new to me. I just want to be as proficient as possible. So, I was wondering should I take the practicode to remove the ''A"? Also, can anyone tell me if there is a speciality that DOES NOT have E/M codes or modifiers.

I completed the practicode and do not regret it.

The only coding related position I can think of that does not require modifiers at all would be Risk Adjustment coding. Maybe someone else can think of others.

Inpatient coding does not have modifiers. For that you would need your CCS or CIC.
