Does anyone have a provider that is performing, or plans to perform this Alloflo procedure? I have found that CPT codes 66740 and 67255 are best codes to bill.
67255 is separate procedure and I do not have a lot of experience in billing for separate procedures or using unbundling modifiers.
If anyone has billed for this procedure, what codes did you use?

Sorry, i searched this procedure in AAPC Newsletters library and didn't find anything. At our practice, this was not discussed yet.

Has anyone billed for an AlloFlo using 66740 and 67255? If so, are you having sucess getting paid for those codes or are there issues with 67255 since it is a separate procedure code. Thank you!

Hello- This company seems to be miss advising providers to bill these codes. AMA has a report on this, if you use CPT knowledge base assistance and look up 67255, both procedures are listed in their response and they clearly outline 67255 requires an Autograft, not an allograft, further noting it is an unlisted procedure. I spoke with one of their reps directly last week who is fully aware it is not approved by AMA, AMA does not agree with their service, further noted they are working on trying to get a CPT code. Be careful with these.
