Back in March CMS stated they were no longer allowing initial inpatient virtual visits (99221-99223 w/modifier 95). They stated they inadvertently added it to their telehealth list of CPT codes. Their updated (August) telehealth list came out and those codes are stll on there. Does anyone know if they have decided to reimburse initial inpatient virtual visits?
