Our Doctor did an internal carotid stent placement without EPD. Will I use 37216 or 61635? Since it was the internal carotid that was stented, would that be considered as intracranial?

Any clarification is much appreciated! Thank you!

Internal Carotid is usually cervical (not intracranial). However, the clarification should come from the provider. I would not use the intracranial code unless that is in the documentation.
