One of our doctors heard that Medicare is not processing claims because of the shut-down. We have been getting checks, but since they are (so far) for 2018 services, he thinks maybe they will not be processing claims for 2019 services. I think he heard wrong, but can anyone assure me definitively that this is not the case?

Thanks!

Its a partial government shut down. Affected agencies are on calendar year budget. CMS is on fiscal year so they are funded at least through 9/30/19. VA for example is already funded for the next 3 years.
