Hello everyone,
I am a job seeker that has 35 years' experience as a CPC in the radiology specialty as a coder, biller, and denial specialist. I was a coder back when coding wasn't even a career, and everything was a manual process. I have seen technology take off and coding go from a cheat sheet with a handful of codes to advanced diagnosis code sets with rule and guidelines that have become an electronic process that has transitioned from ICD 9 to ICD 10. The company I worked for made the hard decision to outsource the practice. I never thought that someone with my experience would have such a hard time finding a job. I will post my resume here in hopes that someone will be interested in my expertise.
