Hello,
The IR dept has a new therapeutic injection for liver tumors.
Injection of JX-594 which is a vaccine virus directly into hepatic tumors.
Any suggestions on CPT codes ? Unlisted 47399 ?

Are you in a cllinical trial? If so, I would check with the contact person for the trial to make sure.
But everything I've read about this is that JX-594 is given by intravenous infusion, so I would look at 96413. If given another way, then look at the other 964xx chemotherapy codes.
