Questions on the compartment of the knee.
I selected CPT 29881 for this O.P report.
Is this the same compartment
The instrumentation was a shaver inserted inot the anterior medial portal and the tear within the medial meniscus was dissected out using a shaver followed by superficial shaving of the loose cartilaginous surface of the medial femoral condyle.
Was tempted to use CPT 29881 and 29877 but the chondroplasty must be done in a different compartment in order to code it. That why I need clarification on if my decision is right on with saying this done in the same compartment.
