can you code BOTH a 22630 & 63047 on same level & get paid?

No.
22630 reads, "Aarthrodesis, posterior interbody technique, including laminectomy and/ordiscectomy to prepare interspace...." etc.

The only time you can is when you are doing additional decompression work beyond that required for the PLIF, i.e. facetectomy or foraminotomy. You would need a modifier 59 on 63047. BUT CMS now says they won't pay regardless. AANS is appealing that decision.
