Hello!
My doctor performed a direct laryngoscopy with operating microscope to excise nodules on the vocal folds. He also utilized an endoscope along with this for increased visualization during this procedure.
Would I use the one of the regular laryngoscopy cpt codes for this or use an unlisted code since there isn't a code that includes the use of the endoscope?
Any thoughts???

Thank you!
:)

I would just use the appropriate laryngoscopy code. I equate this scenario to when a physician uses a loupe for increased visulization -- no additional code.

I am interested to see if anyone has a different take.
