I have an op note where the physician released the carpal tunnel ligament but then he also released the trigger finger on the same hand. Do I code the 26055 with a -59 or is it not needed? If it is not needed, then why?

you will code the 64721 and 26055 w/F modifier. 59 modifier is not needed because the 26055 does not bundle with 64721 even though its possible that they did thesethrough the same incision, there are different procedures.
