Are co-pays imposed by secondary insurance not billable to a patient? I have several patients with Medicaid as a tertiary. Medicaid will not cover the copay. Am I able to charge the patient?

In most states, you cannot bill a Medicaid-eligible patient for a balance unless Medicaid has been indicated that the amount is patient responsibility on the EOB. You would need to contact your state's Medicaid plan and/or review their policies to know for sure though.
