in kentucky we have 3 CMO that took over medicaid. they are Wellcare,Conventry Cares and kentucky spirit. i am confused on how we bill for well child visits and immunizations. do they follow the medicaid guidelines with a modifier 26 and SL modifier on the immunizations or do they want the EP modifier on the EM code? we have passport in louisville but some of the counties in southern kentucky have gone to these three medicaid programs and i am not sure how they are to be billed. any help would be greatly appreciated.
