Recently a drug rep told my doctor about code 4124F. She said it's a medicaid code that pays if we counsel patients against inappropriate antibiotic use. Has anyone used this and in what context?

The CPT codes that end in F are not Medicaid codes, the are category II codes in your CPT book, mainly for PQRI reporting. Do not listen to a drug rep. when it comes to coding. Always do the research. You need to look up Category II codes. You can google PQRI and also The AMA website for Category II reporting.

Thanks... I already googled and found that it was a quality reporting code but I always like to double check!
