Medicare patient had a medial meniscectomy with synovectomy and chondroplasty done in the patellofemoral compartment. Does the chondroplasty take precedent over the synovectomy? Synovectomy is the more extensive procedure, but chondroplasty generally includes soft-tissue debridement. Opionions would be appreciated.
