I understand that Medicare will not pay for Home Infusion services. However, we want to use the S9500 series of codes for per diem. When we attach the GY modifier we are still hitting claim payor edits that will not recognize the code and therefore we are unable to get the denial to pass on to the secondary insurance.

Is anyone else successfully using per diem codes with Medicare patients, and if so how is it working for you?
