Is Medicaid CPT codes for visits same as for Medicare?

CPT/HCPCS codes are the same across payers however, Medicare and Medicaid sometimes require what are known as G-codes rather than the numerical only CPT codes. G codes can be for reporting purposes or reimbursement. There are also some S HCPCS codes which some payes may require. Some commercial payers may require G or other codes in their guidelines for payment.

So yes, they are the same but there can be some differences depending.
