Medicare patient with a history of colon cancer had a colonoscopy. With a history of colon cancer will there ever be a situation where this patient would be getting a screening colonoscopy versus a diagnostic procedure?

Good question! Are there any LCDs for diagnostic colonoscopy without personal history of colonic neoplasm listed as an indication? The only situation may be the diagnostic frequency: after 1 year and then every 3-5 years. What does anyone else think!
