Wiki Menisectomy - Debridement Constitute?

If the doc has "menisectomy" in the summary section, but in the body of the dictation he just says "debridement of meniscus" does that constitute a menisectomy? Should doc actually say "performed menisectomy by...."

I would think this is adequate terminology. Since menisectomy is removal of the meniscus and in essense the torn or frayed ends of the meniscus are debrided. I personally wouldnt think twice about billing out for this.
