Hi everyone! I currently work for a 100% telehealth psychiatry practice and we are wanting to start doing a virtual IOP. I know Medicare only allows IOP for certain facilities, so this would be for commercial payers only. Does anyone have any experience billing the S9480 code? Having a hard time finding any clear guidance that isn't from a blog. There are no coding guidelines since it's an S code. I'm kind of at a loss on where to start. I know we need to bill on a UB04 and it's a per diem rate. The basic idea I've gotten is that it's a minimum of 9 hrs/week, billed on a UB04 with rev code 0905. Any tips or insight is much appreciated, thank you!
