Would it be appropriate to report modifier 25 on an E/M code for a follow up visit post uterine fibroid embolization when an MRI was read by the same physician checking the status of the fibroid? The MRI was paid the E/M denied.
 
reporting seperately for the MRI

When the pt is being seen just for the reading, we only report the office visit because this is why they are coming in. Unless other things were done:)
