I need more explanation for this CPT codes, do we have to use mod.50, RT/LT?

Ex. ( 92235, Fluorescein angiography (includes multiframe imaging) with interpretation and report, unilateral or bilateral.

For dates of service prior to 2017, the code was defined as unilateral; now, it is billed once whether one or both eyes are tested. )
Thank You

My question is: Do we have to use mod RT/LT OR 50 because the description of the code says:"it is billed once whether one or both eyes are tested"
(ex. IF the provider states that the procedure is done on the both eye do we use 50 mod?Or nothing? (Because it is billed once whether one or both eyes are tested)
Thanks

The -50 modifier is used when a unilateral code is performed bilaterally, and it will change the reimbursement. Since this code will pay the same no matter how many eyes are tested I wouldn't bother.
