Hi All. I hope someone can guide me on this one please.

Patient had a hip greater trochanteric fracture and then nonunion.

Here is the main part of the op report:

The patient was taken to the operating room...time-out was performed and antibiotics given prior to skin incision. We opened up the two-thirds of the previous incision for approximately 5 cm, cut through the skin and subcutaneous tissue sharply. Tensor was incised. I made a split in the medius. There was evidence of the bony nonunion. This piece was taken out in its entirety. The remainder of the medius area was cleaned of debris. I then placed two 5.5 BioComposite corkscrew anchors in the area of the medius insertion. We then used 4 horizontal mattress sutures and pulled the remainder of the medius down to the bone. We did gently decorticate the bone to stimulate a bleeding response. The #1 was utilized to close the tensor, O Vicryl used to close the deep subcutaneous..etc.

I can't decide if this is an unlisted procedure or what. There probably is a code, I'm just not sure which. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
